This collaborative project brings together graduate students from architecture and interior design, product design, service design, and painting at RCA to develop a community-based eating mental health program. The initiative aims to enhance access to nutritious food and expand outreach efforts to combat social isolation.

The bus is designed with a café and dining area downstairs, ensuring accessibility for older adults and individuals with limited mobility. The seating is arranged inward-facing to encourage conversation and social interaction.

Upstairs, the bus functions as a grocery store, offering fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, bread, and dry goods. Customers can place their orders downstairs, and staff members will retrieve their items from the upper deck.

UI Design

Users can view the food truck's schedule and location on the mobile app, while also engaging in food-related socializing, sharing recipes, and stories.

Location: Helps users find the nearest food bus and view daily food options.
Community: An online platform for isolated groups to make social connections and friendships.
Recipe: A collection of home and healthy recipes shared by the local community.

Cookbook

This book is a treasure on the food truck, where users can tear off a page to write down recipes and stories, and then stick it on the wall to share. It combines the traditional method of recording recipes with the personal stories behind the food.
