Hi!

Evelyn Ning is a London-based product and user experience designer, originally from Yangzhou, China—a city rich in history, culture, and vibrant everyday life. With a keen sensitivity to life’s nuances and a passion for human-centered experiences, she creates designs that are warm, meaningful, and emotionally engaging.
Rooted in critical thinking, Evelyn approaches design not as a tool for critique but as a means to uncover positive elements—exploring the connection between products and users, discovering joy in interactions, and shaping experiences that enhance everyday life. She strongly believes in the optimistic power of design, advocating for solutions that inspire, connect, and delight.
While the industry often emphasizes polished renderings and glossy presentations, Evelyn prioritizes real impact and genuine value. She focuses on how products build meaningful connections with individuals and contribute to broader cultural narratives. Her interactive experiences are infused with warmth and depth, celebrating diverse users and diverse needs.
Evelyn holds a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art (RCA) Design Products and previously worked as a Product Manager at a technology consulting firm, where she led product launches, enhanced user engagement, and aligned products with market needs.
Her master’s research focused on breast cancer prevention for women through design interventions, exploring prevention strategies, causes, self-care habits, and existing market solutions. Her work gained significant recognition at the 2024 RCA Postgraduate Exhibition, receiving positive feedback from female users and sparking discussions on the role of design in healthcare and well-being.
